Engineer performance
Measured against the standard time for the boards each engineer actually worked — not raw hours, which measure which jobs they were given.

Scorecards · August 2026
Provisional — rework still maturing| Engineer | Jobs | Hours | Standard earned | Efficiency | First pass | Rework | Write-off | Utilisation |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Ramachandran | 17 | 142 | 163 | 115% | 88% | 6% | 6% | 89% |
| Baleswar | 7 | 138 | 121 | 88% | 71% | 29% | 14% | 86% |
| Muthu | 3 | 96 | 88 | 92% | 100% | 0% | 0% | 60% |
Muthu closed three jobs — marked a small sample and excluded from ranking, because three jobs cannot separate skill from luck (AC-058-007). His 60% utilisation says he was waiting for work, not working slowly (AC-058-004). Four of Ramachandran's jobs had no standard time and are excluded as not comparable.
Same board, different engineers
VENTILATOR · Major| Engineer | Jobs | Median hours | Standard | First pass |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Ramachandran | 6 | 7.5 | 9.0 | 83% |
| Baleswar | 4 | 11.0 | 9.0 | 50% |
Standard 9.0 h from 14 closures. This is the comparison that means something — same board, same service level.

Ranked on the composite, never on speed alone. Baleswar's efficiency is respectable; his first-pass rate is not, and the gate is a gate rather than a weighting (AC-059-004).
